Meet The Hotshots

Meet some of the Hotshots who will be touring all over Australia and New Zealand in coming months!

Luke

Luke is a 23 year old former lifeguard, who lists photography, spending time with friends & family, training and going to the beach amongst his interests. Luke doubles up as both James Bond and a lifeguard during the show – chosen because “it suits me!” He enjoys his solo lifeguard routine the most – with his background as a lifeguard it’s easy to understand! His favourite group routine is the ‘Risky Business’ act “because it’s casual and laidback’. Luke’s favourite part about being a Hotshot is “the travelling and spending time with the boys – they’re a great bunch to hang out with!”

Tyson

Tyson originally hails from Senegal, a country located in Western Africa. This fitness buff is looking forward to embarking on his first tour with the Hotshots, and can currently be seen touring Western Australia! Having previously worked in security, he is looking forward to travelling with the Hotshots, meeting new people and performing every night! He doubles up as a navy man in the show, and his favourite part of the show is inviting audience members up on stage to get them involved in the show. You would be surprised to know he has competed in the National Sprint Athletic Championships, competing in the 100m and 200m long jump events!

Az

You would be surprised to know that Az was born in Moscow, Russia! He has been a Hotshot for almost a year now, and you can see him at local Sydney shows. Az enjoys going to festivals, parties, spending time with mates and training, and says his favourite movie is Avatar! Az is currently studying full time at uni, earning a degree in business and commerce.

Tobi

This former accountant, judo trainer and fisherman says his favourite meal is ‘Mum’s lasagne’! Tobi keeps fit by leading a very active lifestyle – ‘I love working out, windsurfing, mountaineering, cycling, playing soccer, practicing judo, skiing, surfing and more!’ This German native is looking forward to getting on stage in front of some enthusiastic crowds, and is most looking forward to “entertaining the ladies in the crowd and making sure they enjoy the show’. His greatest achievement is finishing his diploma at university with good grades.

Jay

Jay is the Hotshots very own Canadian Cowboy! He stays in shape by going to the gym 5 times a week and going for runs a few times a week. His greatest achievement is “completing a 20 mile marathon and coming in second place!” His favourite Hotshots routine is the ‘Village People’ – “it makes me laugh every time”, and his most memorable moment on stage was his first ever performance – “I was shaking so much but did okay in the end!” You would be surprised to know that Jay is a good cook!

Brayden

Brayden is a 23 year old Libran, who started out in the Hotshots office before making his way up the Hotshots ranks to earn himself a spot in the show! If he could have dinner with any 3 people he would choose Jessica Alba, Samuel L Jackson and Bigfoot (to find out if he really exists)! His favourite part about being a Hotshot is performing in front of big crowds, and his greatest achievement to date was making the National Hockey Team.

Gerardo

Gerardo is a former concreter and personal trainer turned Hotshot, who has been with the Hotshots for almost 6 months. Gerardo doubles up as a policeman and a groom in his solo routine – he chose his routine because ‘it consists of my style of dancing – hip hop – which I enjoy doing and am comfortable performing”. When asked about the groom aspect of his routine he explains “I choose a lady from the crowd during the show and “marry her” on stage – during the break I pretend she is my wife. It’s a lot of fun and good for a laugh!”

Colin

Colin is a former car salesman and personal trainer turned Hotshot. His drink of choice is a vodka & lime, and he lists his greatest achievement as his son. In his spare time he likes to party, spend time with friends and his son, travel and go to the beach. Colin’s favourite thing about being a Hotshot is “the smiles and screams we get from the ladies when up on stage”. If Colin could have dinner with anyone at all it would be Hugh Hefner – “he’d have some interesting stories to tell!” You may have recently seen him appearing in the Channel 7 show, ‘Gangs of Oz’.

Rob

Rob has lived in the Czech Republic and Tokyo before settling down in Sydney. You can see Rob onstage as a policeman, and his favourite part of the show is the crowd reaction as the routine goes on! Rob’s favourite thing about being a Hotshot is “meeting the crowd”, and he loves being on stage in front of big crowds. His greatest achievement to date is travelling around the world and seeing the sights.

Victor

This year marks Victor’s first as a Hotshot. This brown eyed personal trainer is “looking forward to having fun, going through new adventures and meeting new people” whilst on the road. Victor enjoys going to the beach and training, and stays in shape by training with weights and cardio several times a week! If he was down to his last $20 he would “spend it on food – I’m always hungry!” Victor’s greatest achievement to date was winning his football grand final a few years ago.

Darren

This Victorian gained experience overseas in Las Vegas before returning home to join the Hotshots. Personal trainer by day and Hotshot by night, you can see him on stage as Rocky. Darren is a baseball fan, and both watches and plays the sport - it's one of the ways he keeps in shape! His most memorable moment on stage was when "we toured through Sydney and the crowd started chanting my name!" His favourite thing about being a Hotshot is "making a special night more special". You would be surprised to know he loves taking quiet weekends away!

Luke

He may look like a bad boy, but inside Luke has a heart of gold and is definitely a favourite amongst Hotshots fans. He has excelled in karate, swimming and bodybuilding, taking part in and winning numerous state and national titles. If Luke could have dinner with any 3 people he would choose “Arnold Schwarzennegger, because he’s an inspiration to me – he is so driven and focussed and has succeeded in everything he’s done; Will Ferrell so if the food is terrible he is guaranteed to make us laugh throughout the dinner; and Pink, she’s my idea of a perfect woman.” His favourite thing about being a Hotshot? “You’re having fun and hanging out with your mates and getting paid for it!”

Daniel

Daniel is the Hotshots very own green eyed Sydney boy. If Daniel could have dinner with any 3 people, he would choose “Hugh Hefner, to discuss his colourful life; Miranda Kerr because she’s easy on the eye; and Gordon Ramsey so he could cook the dinner!” If he was down to his last $20 he would buy his Mum flowers. Daniel lists his greatest achievement as “Owning my own home” – a fantastic achievement for anyone, let alone this 25 year old Aquarius! This former roofer and courier says his favourite thing about being a Hotshot is “the people you meet and the challenge of keeping women happy”.

Darren

Darren has been with the Hotshots for a decade now, and his favourite things about being a Hotshot are "the travelling, getting paid to do something you love to do and have fun doing, hanging out with your mates and its professional reputation." You would be surprised to know that his religion is Buddhism! Darren says his favourite sports are UFC & Rugby League (A Roosters fan), and has a soft spot for Thai & Japanese food. Some of his interests include travelling, movies, black & white photography, working out and cooking, and he enjoys massages, the beach, sleeping in, Thai curries and girls who can dance. His greatest achievement? "My daughter."
